Dr. Kristi Billard grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree before venturing out to Western Canada. She earned her Medical Degree at the University of Calgary in 2017 and then completed her Orthopedic Surgical Residency at the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. She then spent a year in Toronto, Ontario at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, earning a fellowship in Upper Extremity and Trauma Surgery. 

Dr. Billard is very happy and proud to return to Saskatoon to establish a practice in Upper Extremity surgery, alongside Dr. Sims and Dr. Sauder. Her practice focuses on the treatment of hand, wrist and elbow conditions, as well as general orthopedic trauma. Her research interests are focused on improving and examining clinical outcomes in upper extremity surgery.
